Monthly Meeting: Tuesday, September 20th at 7:30 pm at Seven Tribesmen Brewery1151 NJ-23, Wayne, NJ 07470 Join us at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022, for our monthly MASH meeting at Seven Tribesmen Brewery in Wayne. Come out to sample some of their wonderful beers and we would be opening up the options for our third and final Club-only competition of the year. You can bring any BJCP-style beer as long as the ABV is 4.5 % or less. There are not a huge amount of styles that would qualify, but there are certainly enough to make this an interesting competition. If you have not yet received it, you will be able to pick up your 2022 MASH member Glass. This year it is a 21.5 oz Willi Becher Tumbler.  CALL TO ACTION: Motown MASH is COMING !! We need volunteers to help judge and steward on the day of the competition and help with the bottle sort. You can register to judge or steward through the competition website (https://motownmash.brewcompetition.com/). Let us know on Slack if you can help with the Bottle Sort (which will be held at 9 am on Sunday, October 16th at Double Tap Brewing in Whippany). Just message one of the Board members. The week before we will post more information about what to bring (as we will most likely need folding tables, beer boxes, and 6-pack holders)Group Purchase: Join us in buying fresh cider! We will once again be buying cider from Best’s Fruit Farm in Hackettstown. The price will be $ 4 per gallon. Ned Gardner and Shaun Ananko will be picking up the cider on the morning of Tuesday, October 18th for distribution at that night’s monthly MASH meeting. You will need to drop off your keg or carboy at Ned’s house no later than October 17th. April 18th, 2023: Based on helpful feedback we received at the June Members Only Meeting, we are announcing this well in advance. The first Club only Competiton of next year will be ANY style lager. We plan to have a Sensory Analysis session featuring lagers early in the year to get everyone psyched for the April competition. Start your planning Now!! MASH members are invited to re-up their commitment to our community by renewing their membership. Dues remain $25 for AHA members and $30 for those who haven’t joined yet.
